Quality Automotive Training (QAT) Profile

QAT is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) which specializes in training for the Automotive Retail, Service & Repair (RS&R) Industry. The R,S & R Industry covers all aspects of automotive training from when motor vehicles leave the manufacturing plant.

 Our range of training covers:

  • Certificate II in Automotive Administration – Office workers

  •  Certificate III in Automotive Administration – Office managers

  •  Certificate II in Accessory Fitting

  •  Certificate II in Automotive Electrical Technology

  • Certificate II in Automotive Vehicle Servicing

  • Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical (Inc. Tyre Fitting, Cooling, Underbody

    and others)

  • Certificate II in Vehicle Body (Inc. Paint, Panel, Dismantling, Detailing and others)

  • Certificate II in Automotive Sales (Inc. Parts, Vehicle, Service Station and others)

  • Certificate III in Automotive Sales (Inc Parts, Vehicle, Service Station and others)

  • Certificate II in Automotive Warehouse/Distribution Operations

  • Certificate III in Automotive Warehouse/Distribution Operations

  • Certificate I in Automotive VET in Schools programs.

 QAT began operations in January 1999. All QAT trainers have an Automotive Trade qualification (either Motor Mechanic or Auto Electrician).

All our trainers also have the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment qualification. Tom Ziniak QAT’s Managing Director has had over 40 years experience in the motor industry from Trade Qualifications/ experience to Sales and Management experience.  Tom also holds the Diploma in Training and Assessment.

Our training methods are usually Distance Learning with On-Site Assessments (We come to you, which means no time away from work is required for staff training). QAT can also conduct Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for all the above qualifications PLUS RPL for Light Vehicle Motor Mechanics. RPL recognizes people’s skills / experience to issue arecognised qualification (eg Certificate III in Automotive Technology, Motor Mechanics trade certificate.)
